How to Geek Out With Live Music Sets at Setlist.fm

If you’re a music lover and concertgoer and haven’t stumbled upon the largest collection of concert setlists created by fans yet, then this news is for you. Setlist.fm presented by Citi and Samsung just launched a fresh new look — meaning it’s easier than ever to add, collect, and share setlists from all your favorite artists.

Madonna Setlist The Forum, Inglewood, CA, USA 2015, Rebel Heart Tour

Ever wanted to go see a band perform but weren’t sure what songs they might include in their set? Setlist.fm’s community of concertgoers have added more than 2 million setlists to Setlist.fm to date, making it the biggest setlist repository on the Internet and an amazing resource for fans who want to know what to expect at the show.

Foo Fighters Setlist Honda Center, Anaheim, CA, USA 2015, Sonic Highways World Tour

Setlist.fm’s clean and intuitive interface makes creating and viewing setlists for shows super easy, and the site also aggregates statistics to identify trends across concerts.

For instance, did you know that the top-played song this year by Foo Fighters is “Everlong”? Or that Madonna performed her latest album’s first single “Living for Love” the most this year on tour? How about Florence + the Machine, you ask? Flo has rocked her hit songs “What Kind of Man” and “Ship to Wreck” live the most this year, so chances are you’ll hear them at her show.*

Florence + the Machine Setlist Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood, CA, USA 2015, How Big Tour

All this information adds up to sweet music stats about artists and concert tours, especially for the diehard fans out there.

So when you’re wondering what you should listen to before the show to get pumped up and ready for dancing and sing-alongs, Setlist.fm is your go-to resource. Tip: Power users say it’s helpful to check sets from multiple tour dates (2-3) to get a good sense of what an artist has been playing and how the setlists shift from show to show.

The site also provides community-generated information on albums, cover songs, and special guests, which means there’s plenty of stuff to geek out on before heading out to the next concert — or after the show when you want to take a stroll down memory lane.
* As reported by fans at Setlist.fm at the time of this post.
Setlist.fm has been a part of the Live Nation Entertainment family since 2011.

The Rundown on Cell Phone Etiquette for Live Events

Ticketmaster mobile ticket edm festival

If you’ve been to a concert, game, or performance lately you probably noticed that most people have the same thing in their hands: a smartphone. Our devices have become indispensable, so it’s no surprise people break them out at live events to record and share memories as well as gain entry in with the Ticketmaster app on Android and Apple. But there are definitely some cell phone best practices for live events that can help make the experience better for you and everyone around you. Check out the pointers below and be a shining example of cell phone etiquette at your next live event – your neighbors will thank you.

1. Turn your screen brightness down if you plan to use your phone in a dark setting. A super bright screen can be distracting, especially at indoor and intimate venues or events in the evening.

2. Try not to yell or talk on your phone during the action. Nobody wants to hear your convo during an awesome concert moment or in game action, so give yourself a little privacy and head to another area when you need to take a call.

3. If you plan to take photos or videos, go for it. But think twice before doing it the entire show – you’ll fluster your neighbors and you may miss some special live moments if you’re glued to your screen all night.

4. Getting caught up in the action is great and what the live experience is all about, but try to make a habit of checking around and over your shoulder to make sure you’re not the last person standing. If it happens, no worries, just take a seat.

5. Put your iPad down. Seriously, it’s definitely blocking someone. The camera on your phone is just as good, and so much smaller.

6. Selfie sticks are useful and funny, but we can all agree that a giant wand blocking the view is no fun. Check out the event’s mobile device policy ahead of time to make sure you’re abiding by rules and restrictions (pay special attention to what’s allowed in and not allowed). For example, some music festivals are starting to ban selfie sticks, so make sure to double check what’s allowed in so there are no issues at the gate.

7. Don’t get stressed if spotty service is impacting your photos and videos posting. #Latergram. Enjoy the moment!

8. Be respectful of others’ privacy. Taking pics or vids of people at events to make fun of them puts a damper on the experience for everyone.

9. Forgot your lighter? Keep your smartphone flashlights off please, unless of course the artist or performer asks you to turn them on.

10. Stay connected with your group by making sure you have enough battery life to last you through longer events like festivals or games that go into overtime. Preserve your battery by turning on airplane mode, lowering the brightness on your screen, and closing background apps. This will ensure you have enough juice to reconnect if you get separated or need to coordinate activities after.

Remember that you should never take a photo of your ticket and share it online before the event — this makes you susceptible to fraud. Once the show is over, however, the sky is the limit — get creative and share away! For more creative ticket stub ideas hit up Craftster, Etsy, and Pinterest, and if you’ve got any ticket stub masterpieces of your own make sure to share them in the comments.

5 Tips for Going to a Concert Alone

$
0
0
going to a concert alone tips

Contrary to popular belief, going to a concert alone can be a rewarding experience. In fact, in many ways, it’s better to go it alone than to attend with friends.

Use these simple tips (illustrated with GIFs from our favorite comedy TV shows) and you’ll be sure to have a great time flying solo at your next concert.

Tip #1: Don’t Over Think It

via GIPHY

When you arrive at the concert, and you’re standing around by yourself, it’s only natural to feel out of place. But as Patrick McNamara of Vice puts it, “nobody cares”. In fact, most people won’t even notice you’re by yourself. They’re paying attention to the music, not to you. So get over it and enjoy the show.

Tip #2: Stay On The Move

via GIPHY

If you’re unable to get over the fact that you’re alone, a simple solution is to keep moving. Assuming your concert doesn’t have assigned seating, staying on the go is easy. And if someone is actually paying attention to you (which they’re most certainly not) they won’t have time to establish that you’re by yourself.

Tip #3: Use It As An Excuse To Socialize

via GIPHY

So you couldn’t get any friends to go to the concert with you. Sounds like your friends are lame. Just kidding! Luckily, the concert is a great way to meet new people. And since everyone there is probably interested in the same band or from the local area, you already have something to talk about and break the ice with.

Tip #4: Just Make Something Up

via GIPHY

If you’re really that embarrassed about attending alone, and someone actually asks you about it, just lie. “I’m covering the show for (insert local music blog here)” or “My girlfriend had to cancel at the last minute because she had a photo shoot in Paris… you know because she’s a super model” are both popular options, but feel free to get creative. Most likely you won’t need to come up with any excuses, but just having one prepared in your head might help make you feel more confident in the crowd.

Tip #5: Be Present

via GIPHY

It’s important to note that all of the previous tips are predicated on the simple truth that live music brings people together, and you belong here just as much as anyone else. So go for it. Go to the show, start a conversation, and jam out to your favorite song without any distractions. And don’t go staring at your phone’s screen the entire time because you’re nervous. You deserve to have a great time, so keep your head up!

5 Ticket Buying Tips to Avoid Counterfeit College Football Tickets

$

0

It’s the moment college football fans across the country have been waiting for. On January 11, 2016 the Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff National Championship game at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Nothing can muck up your game day plans like getting turned away at the gate because of a counterfeit ticket, but if you purchased your seats through Ticketmaster or one of our official partners you’ve got nothing to worry about – your ticket’s barcode is unique to you and guaranteed to get you in.

Don’t let counterfeit tickets ruin your gameday plans — follow these five handy tips to ensure you’re 100% good to go with Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.

1. Get your tickets from official sources: Ticketmaster, a Ticketmaster partner, or your school’s box office. If you buy somewhere else, there’s no way to know your tickets are the real deal. With Ticketmaster, even tickets resold to you are 100% verified and issued in your name so they can’t be counterfeited.

2. If you can’t find the tickets you want, don’t fret – tickets can become available in the days leading up to the game. Check back often with Ticketmaster or your school’s ticket office as new inventory may become available.

3. Protect your tickets once you get them. Make sure you have a strong password for your Ticketmaster account, and keep your tickets in a safe place. If you print your tickets at home, don’t print more than one copy of each ticket – only the first copy scanned will work. And if you lose your tickets before the game, contact us for help.

4. If you look for tickets online, only use websites you trust. Some nefarious brokers create websites to look like the box office, and the URL can be so similar to the official sites that they make you feel like you’re purchasing directly from the source.

5. No matter how stoked you are for the game, do NOT post photos of your tickets on social media sites — unless you take precautions to cover the barcode. This is the perfect way for someone to steal your barcode to make duplicate tickets that could prevent you from entering the game.

You wouldn’t buy airline tickets from an unverified source, so why do it for college football tickets?

Now that you know how to tackle all the various scammers and frauds, you’re free to sit back and enjoy the game. From Ticketmaster, here’s to a fantastic College Football Playoff National Championship game.

How to Prepare for Buying Beyoncé Tickets – 10 Useful Tips

$

Ever since Queen Bey took over Super Bowl 50 and announced The Formation World Tour 2016, the BeyHive hasn’t stopped buzzing. And with only so many presale tickets for stadium shows across America and Europe, Beyonce fans that haven’t scored tickets yet are preparing for when tickets go on sale to the public on 2/16 and 2/22.

If you’re getting ready to buy Beyoncé tickets, here are some ticket buying tips to help you get in to see this #flawless entertainer for the time of your life.

1. Add Favorites to Your Ticketmaster Account
Add artists to your favorites to get notified when they come to town. You’ll always know when the next big event is headed your way and when tickets go on sale.
Get An Account »
Add Favorites »

2. Sign In Ahead Of Time
Every second counts. Be ready to roll and store your billing info ahead of time so you can speed through checkout.

3. Keep Your Info Up-to-Date
Don’t just store it and ignore it. Make sure your current credit card, address, and phone information are on file in My Account.

4. Don’t Use Public Wi-Fi
Sometimes, sharing is not caring. Public Wi-Fi networks can slow you down when you’ve got a need for speed.

5. Get Our App
The Ticketmaster app lets you keep our entire inventory in your pocket. Plus, it’s free for iPhone and Android.

6. Use More Than One Device
Two fans are better than one. Have a friend hustle on their phone, laptop, or tablet. But make sure you only use one browser (or browser tab) on each device, or else the system might think you’re a bot and cancel your tickets.

7. Split Up
The fewer tickets you search for, the better the odds you’ll score those seats. Have more than one person in your group buy tickets and sit apart if you have to. You can still carpool.

8. Keep Checking Back
Sometimes additional tickets are released hours before a big event. Resale tickets will also pop up as the concert draws near, so check in regularly.

9. Buy Verified Resale Tickets
Even if you don’t score tickets right away, Bey and Ticketmaster have your back with Verified Resale Tickets. Unlike other ticket resellers, Ticketmaster Verified Resale Tickets guarantee that the seat you buy is the seat you get.

How to Prepare for a Concert (After You Get Tickets)

What to do after buying concert tickets

You did it! You scored tickets to that artist you’ve been dreaming of seeing for weeks, months, or maybe even years. Go ahead and take a second to bask in the satisfaction, and then get ready to rock with these helpful tips on how to prepare for the concert.

One Month Before

Set a Budget

Expenses can stack up quickly – food, drinks, gas, parking, merchandise, a new outfit. Try to estimate your costs ahead of time so you can set aside some dough.

Listen to Songs

There’s nothing better than belting out your favorite tunes with the artist and the other fans in the crowd. Practice the lyrics in your car with a playlist from Spotify or go old school with a mix CD.

Plan Your Concert Outfit

A concert is a great time to show off your personal fashion. Do you want to go cool and sexy? Or is it time to let your freak flag fly? Get your ensemble together now so your look is on point at the show.

Go ahead and share your excitement on social media – it’s a great way to find out if anyone else you know is going. You can also send a shout out to the band or artist to let them know you’re stoked – who knows, they may even re-Tweet you!

Pro tip: Do not post pictures of your tickets online ahead of the event, and if you do, please make sure to cover your barcodes! This will prevent anyone from using the unique codes to steal your seats.

Follow the Artist, Venue & Event

Keep an eye on social streams for special messages (and special offers) as the show nears. Plus, if the band or artist releases any new music, you’ll always have the inside scoop.

One Week Before

Confirm Your Entry Method

Whether you go paperless and enter using your mobile device or print your tickets at home, make sure you have everything you need to get in to the event. Most venues offer the following ticket options – click the links for more details and double check your event and ticket order for more information.

Print-at-Home
US Mail
Credit Card Entry (Paperless tickets)
Mobile Entry
Will Call
Retail Outlet Pickup
UPS
Transfer Tickets

Map Your Directions

Take the stress and confusion out of getting to the venue by mapping your route beforehand. If you’re using an app for directions, you can even save the venue’s address so you’ll be ready to go.

Figure Out Parking

Looking for parking at the last minute can be a serious buzzkill. Avoid the hassle by researching parking options and identifying nearby lots ahead of the event.

Confirm Event Start & Departure Time

If you’re attending with others, make sure you confirm when the show starts. Check the event info to find out when the doors open and when warm up acts take the stage. Make sure everyone is on the same page in your group and confirm a departure time that allows for traffic.

Make a Dinner Reservation

All that rocking is bound to make you hungry. While all-night diners are a safe bet, you can also class it up with a fancy reservation before or after the show.

Write a Concert Essentials Checklist

Wondering what to bring? Every event is different, so check the venue’s policies before packing for your show. Then, make a checklist of your concert essentials so you don’t leave anything behind. Don’t forget your:
·Ticket
·ID
·Cash
·Fully charged phone
·Earplugs
·Light sweater

Heading to an outdoor concert or festival? Then we suggest bringing these additional items. View more festival essentials here.
·Sunscreen
·Sunglasses
·Hat

The Day of the Concert

Don’t Skip Any Meals

Make sure you stay energized and start the day with a good breakfast. Also, eating a healthy lunch will prevent your tummy from rumbling in the middle of the show.

Stay Hydrated

Drink lots of water before, during, and after the concert to make sure that you don’t pass out in the middle of your favorite song.

Get Mobile-Ready

Make sure your phone is charged and sign in to your favorite social media accounts before you go into the event, since you can’t always count on cell reception. And if you’ve opted for a mobile ticket, open it up BEFORE you get to the event.

Review Your Checklist

It’s never hurts to check twice before you head out.

Be Ready for Will Call

If you’re picking up your tickets at the event, it’s important to review the venue’s will call information. Oftentimes, all you need to bring is your ID or purchasing credit card to redeem your tickets, but be sure to double check venue policies.

Get There On Time or Early

Don’t miss a single beat. Arriving early gets you first dibs on food, drinks, merchandise, and amenities like coat check. Plus, you can get to the front of the stage without having to push your way through the crowd.

Choose a Meet Up Spot

Before the show, select an easy-to-spot meeting place. If you get separated from your friends (or someone’s cellphone dies), you can all rendezvous at a familiar location. Cell phone reception can be hit or miss at some venues, so it’s important to have a game plan before you rock out.

Have Fun!

You’re in. Have a great time. Oh! After the event is over, and you’re sporting that post-event glow, tell others about how it went. Share your concert or event experience with other fans by submitting a review at Ticketmaster.

Cover the Code Ticketmaster

It’s a fan’s worst nightmare: you score tickets to an event you’re dying to see — and excitedly take a ticket selfie — and post the picture of your tickets on social media. You think you’re ready for your must-see event, but when you get to the gate you’re turned away because someone stole your tickets using the picture you posted online.

Don’t let this happen to you — stop counterfeiters by following one simple rule when sharing pics of your tix online: Cover the Code. On your paper or mobile ticket there is a one-of-a-kind barcode and if anyone acquires it they can make duplicate tickets to use or sell that render your tickets worthless.
Cover the Code

Always #CoverTheCode when posting ticket pics online, and follow the additional steps below to avoid ticket theft and protect yourself and your Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.

Don’t post pics of your tickets online with the barcode showing before the event happens. This includes paper tickets, print-at-home tickets and mobile tickets — basically ALL tickets with unique barcodes. If you see family or friends sharing tickets online, please ask them to kindly #CoverTheCode.

Another important tip: Avoid taking screenshots that expose personal information like your first and last name, address, or credit card, especially during your checkout and confirmation experience on Ticketmaster.

Do use the built-in social media share features to spread the good news about your tickets on Facebook and Twitter.

How to Avoid Counterfeit Tickets for Beyoncé’s World Formation Tour

It’s. So. Close. Beyoncé’s World Formation tour kicks off this week and fans everywhere are buzzing with excitement to see Queen Bey. And it gets even better: it’s not too late to get tickets, even for shows that are “sold out”. Just be careful when hunting for seats – there are many Beyoncé ticket scammers out there who want to cheat fans out of money with fake Beyoncé tickets. So how do you know if the tickets you’re buying are the real deal? Read on for a few simple tips to ensure you have a flawless night with Beyoncé.

Buy tickets to “sold out” shows safely.

Just say NO to scalpers outside the venue. It’s never worth the gamble – you could buy fakes or tickets that were stolen from another real fan. And when you’re shopping for seats online, stick with the official source for Beyoncé tickets – Ticketmaster. Other sites may offer a money back guarantee or “comparable” seats if something goes wrong, but with Ticketmaster, the seat you buy is the seat you get guaranteed. Get Ticketmaster Verified Tickets for a Beyoncé show near you.

Did you snag a ticket during the Beyoncé presale or onsale earlier this year? If you got your ticket from Ticketmaster or BeyHive, rest assured your ticket is authentic.

Sell tickets the simple way.

If something comes up and you can’t make it to the show, don’t let your Beyoncé tickets go to waste – sell them to another fan on Ticketmaster. It’s easy:

1. Click the Sell button next to your event in My Account
2. Set your price
3. Get guaranteed payment for sold tickets and never deal with delivery

And feel good knowing your buyer gets to go worry-free with their own Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.

#CoverTheCode

We get it – you’re super stoked to tell the world you got one of the most coveted tickets of the year by posting a ticket selfie online. Just follow one simple rule before doing so: Cover the Code. On your paper or mobile ticket there is a one-of-a-kind code and if anyone acquires it they can make duplicate tickets to use or sell that render your tickets worthless. That’s a risk you don’t want to take.

How to Avoid Buying Counterfeit Broadway Theater Tickets

tony award nominations broadway

Broadway is having a serious moment right now—in addition to perennial faves like The Lion King at the Minskoff Theatre and Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre, oh-so-hot newcomers like ON YOUR FEET! and Hamilton are bringing out theatergoers in droves. As the demand for tickets increases, so do counterfeit scams targeting fans. It’s easy to fall prey to these schemes—but even easier to avoid buying counterfeit tickets if you know what to watch out for. To make sure your Broadway experience is fraud-free, we’ve put together a few simple tips you can follow to ensure you get in to the show without any trouble.

Tips for Buying Broadway Theater Tickets:

Buy tickets from trusted sources—don’t buy anything that seems shady.
Get tickets at the theater box office or from Ticketmaster. There’s no easy way to spot fake Broadway theater tickets. That’s why where you buy matters – it can make the difference between sitting the show out or giving a standing ovation.

Don’t buy from unofficial sites.
Ticket fraud is real, and there’s real risk whenever you buy from people you found online, or other ticket resale sites that don’t seem legit.

Never buy tickets from scalpers on the street or near the venue.
There’s no way to know what you’re getting from scalpers – you could end up with tickets that are fake or stolen.

Buy tickets to “sold-out” shows safely.
Do resale right and shop Ticketmaster to get Ticketmaster Verified Tickets from other fans who can’t make it. Not all Broadway resale tickets are equal: only Ticketmaster Verified Tickets come with the guarantee that the seat you buy is the seat you get.

Be extra careful around hugely popular, frequently sold-out productions like Hamilton.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Pulitzer Prize-winning new production about the life and death of Alexander Hamilton has already shattered the record for most Tony Award nominations and received an invitation to the White House from President Obama, so it’s no surprise people are lining up at the Richard Rogers Theatre to experience it for themselves. The bad news: fake theater tickets are more common for popular shows like this. The good news: you can catch a “sold-out” show with zero problems when you score resale tickets from Ticketmaster.

PS – Don’t post pics of your tix online before the event happens. People can use pictures of your tickets to make fakes, so be careful when showing off about scoring great seats. #CoverTheCode

Congrats, you’re an expert on buying tickets safely and avoiding counterfeits. Now you can focus on what really matters–having an awesome time at the show.

CMA Music Festival app

CMA4-576x1024 CMA3-576x1024 CMA5-576x1024

How to Avoid Ticket Scams on Craigslist & Buying Fake Tickets

craigstlist tickets ticketmaster disney world disneyland

Craigslist can be helpful when you’re on the hunt for certain things. But buyers need to be aware of scams when using the site, especially when it comes to buying tickets to concerts, games, and other events. If you want to know you’re guaranteed to get in to your next live event, buy your verified and secure tickets straight from official sources like Ticketmaster, at Ticketmaster.com or our mobile app. That is the only way you can be 100% sure the tickets you receive are real and will get you in. After all, a great time starts with peace of mind.

Craigslist has put together a handy guide to avoid getting scammed, and it’s full of great advice. We’ve compiled a few tips as well below.

ticketmaster-craigslist-ticket-scams

Don’t Fall Victim to These Common Craigslist Ticket Scams

  • Ticketmaster never sells tickets on Craigslist. People might pose as Ticketmaster on Craigslist – and sometimes they can seem very legit – but that’s not us, just a scammer trying to rip you off.
  • Ticketmaster will never request that you wire funds. In fact, you shouldn’t wire funds for anything on Craigslist. Take it from Craigslist: “Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union) – anyone who asks you to is a scammer.”
  • Ticketmaster will never ask you to buy an Amazon Gift Card, iTunes Gift Card, or any other third party gift card as a form of payment in exchange for tickets. Ever. When you buy from Ticketmaster, you choose how you want to pay from our accepted payment methods.
  • Ticketmaster does not sell tickets to Disney theme parks. So if you see someone posing as Ticketmaster and selling tickets to Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California, you can be certain they are not legit.
  • Ticketmaster’s official email domain is “@ticketmaster.com”. It is NOT “payments@ticket-master.online”, “ticketmasterinfo.com”, “ticket-masters.com” or any other variation.

Scammers can manipulate an email’s subject line, “from” name, and address. Fraudsters are crafty and you might even see an email that appears to come from a real Ticketmaster email address (like NoReply@ticketmaster.com) so it seems like the message is coming from us, but it’s not.

If you encounter a suspicious-looking email or website that claims to be from Ticketmaster, do not respond or reply to it.

What NOT to do:

  • Do not respond by clicking on a link, opening an attachment, providing personal information or purchasing any gift cards.
  • Do not reply to the email.

What TO do:

  • Call us immediately at 1-800-653-8000.
  • Contact us. Sending us this suspicious-looking email as an attachment is the best way for us to track it (we appreciate your time!). Note: When submitting your information, you may not receive a personal email response from Ticketmaster, but you may receive an automated response.

As always, never open attachments, click links, or respond to emails from any suspicious or unknown senders. Together we can fight fraud.

Ticketmaster Account Manual: The Ultimate User Guide

$

0

When it comes to live events, your Ticketmaster account is equal parts helping hand, secret weapon, and trusty BFF that makes sure you never miss out.

You’re probably already familiar with the basics: you can buy tickets to hot concerts, big games, and acclaimed theater shows with your Ticketmaster account. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

From selling and transferring tickets to getting alerts and offers so you never miss the events you love, there’s so much more to a Ticketmaster account. It’s a super powerful tool that puts some pretty awesome features at your fingertips.

Below we’ve put together a full rundown of all the helpful things you can do with a Ticketmaster account so you can live it up at more live events.

1. Transfer Tickets

Transfer Tickets

Transferring tickets from your account is super easy and completely free. Whether you bought tickets for friends or want to give your tickets to someone because you can’t make it, we’ve got you covered.

So how do you transfer? Simple: just go to your account and click the Transfer button on your order (no button means you can’t transfer for that event). Then follow the simple steps. The recipient will get an email to complete the transfer, and you’ll get an email as soon as they accept. Bam!

2. Sell Tickets You Can’t Use

Sell Tickets

It happens: you’re beyond excited to go to an event, then something comes up and you can’t make it. The good news is you can sell your tickets to another fan right from your Ticketmaster account. It doesn’t cost you anything to sell and it’s 100% safe for both you and the buyer – you get paid and they get in to the event with Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.

To sell, look for the Sell button on your order in your account (no button means no selling for that event or ticket type). Then just follow the simple steps to set your price and enter your debit card or checking account info for hassle-free cha-ching when tickets sell. And of course, you can always edit or remove your listing if you change your mind.

3. Add Favorites

Add Favorites

We hate to play favorites, but this is probably the most fun feature in your account (see what we did there?).

Favorites are great because they’re all about you – and the stuff you’re into. Add your favorite artists, teams, shows, and venues to tell us what you want to see, and we’ll tell you before tickets go on sale. Plus you’ll get other insider perks like presales and special offers for your favorite artists.

But you don’t have to wait for us to ping you – you can add, remove, or see which of your faves have upcoming events at any time by visiting Favorites in your account.

4. Customize Your Email

Email Alert

Ticketmaster emails are totally customizable – so you can get all the info you want, and nothing you don’t.

To manage what you receive from us, head to Manage My Alerts in your account to select the types of alerts, offers, and tips you want to get.

5. Update Payment Info

Update payment info

This is arguably the least sexy of all the account features, but hey, it’s important – keeping your payment info up to date means you won’t have to waste precious time entering billing information during a busy onsale.

So make sure to update your payment info, and ace that onsale like a boss.

6. View/Print Tickets

If you’re getting print-at-home tickets or mobile tickets for your event, just head to your account to view/print.

With mobile, your phone’s your ticket. Just go to My Account in your phone’s web browser – or even easier, My Tickets in our app – and tap the order, then tap the ticket. Note: your tickets will not be emailed to you and you cannot print them.

With print-at-home tickets, go to My Account on your computer – not your phone or tablet! – and click View Tickets to print. Note: your tickets will not be emailed to you.

PS – It’s All a Snap with Our App

As you’ve read, there so much you can do with a Ticketmaster account. Want to know something else cool? You can do it all on the go with our apps for iOS and Android.
