Ticket Buying Tips For Verified Fan

Verified Fan requires registration to help filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, so more tickets get to fans who are going to hold on to tickets and attend the show. This is one of the best tools artists have to reduce the number of their tickets that end up being resold. Historically, Verified Fan onsales only see about 5% of tickets end up on resale sites, which is much lower than the 20-30% typically seen on regular onsales.

With that in mind, here are some helpful tips to get you ready for when it’s time to buy tickets:

1. If you receive a unique access code, sign in to your Ticketmaster account before the ticket sale using the same email and password you used to register for Verified Fan.
2. Ensure your billing information is up to date to make sure there are no delays at checkout.
3. Use the link sent to you via text to join the Waiting Room up to 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.
4. Be careful not to use multiple tabs or devices as it may result in errors.
5. When prompted, enter your unique access code to join the ticket sale.
6. Remember – access to the Verified Fan sale doesn’t guarantee you will be able to buy tickets.
7. Once you’re in the queue, make sure you don’t refresh your page. This could cause you to lose your place in line.
8. As tickets for popular events can sell quickly, signing in ahead of time and ensuring all of your information is up to date will increase your chances of success.
